Maremoto was born in the small coastal town of Puerto Colombia, The idea came from the founders’ deep connection to the sea and the open road—the two passions that fueled their lives. Growing up surfing the waves and riding through the rugged Colombian landscape, they realized that their lifestyle deserved more than just any clothing. It deserved something authentic, natural, and built to last. 

Maremoto was created with a singular vision: to craft apparel that mirrors the freedom of leisure activities, from the thrill of the surf to the freedom of the motorcycle ride. Our slogan, “Craftsmanship for leisure activities,” is a reflection of our commitment to producing garments that are as enduring and carefree as the activities that inspire them. 

We knew that to stay true to our ethos, we had to go beyond fast fashion. That’s why every shirt we make is 100% natural, 100% organic, and 100% undyed. We wanted to create clothing that not only looked good but also respected the environment. Our shirts are crafted from a blend of Peruvian cotton, naturally grown in the lush, coastal rainforests of Peru—untouched by harsh chemicals or artificial dyes.
